Key strengths: Simple top-down fun
Areas for improvement: Wheel bearings, big end bearings, alternator
Don't rely on one as your only car, expect to pay out regular amounts of money in repairs, make frequent trips to the filling station, don't plan on carrying anything bigger than a Mars bar in the boot, but get the roof down when it's sunny and you'll forgive everything.
Issues - Too much stuff to list here - usual suspects are wheel bearings, big end bearings, alternator, front and rear suspension, master cylinder, etc etc. The running costs for Mg Midget 1.5 petrol are high
