The vanity plate 'F1' has sold for more than £440,000 at auction, setting a new British record.Businessman Afzal Khan, who owns Bradford tuning firm Khan Design - best known for doing inappropriate things with Range Rovers - smashed the previous record of £331,000 paid for the numberplate M1 just 18 months ago.
