The former Take That star's record label EMI says that more than a million unsold copies of the Rudebox album will be crushed down and used in road surfacing as part of a recycling initiative.

Critics have already applauded the bold move. "It's good to see Robbie moving from club-infused pop towards more hardcore material," said a fictitious guru yesterday.
