The GS450h is a very convincing hybrid. Eerily smooth and fast, well equipped and refined, it's the best model in the GS range. But rivals are better overall and there are still questions over real-world economy.
On the road price: £39,965 - £45,085
For: Silky smooth power delivery, low noise levels, straight-line speed, standard kit, cabin layout.
Against: Tiny boot, not as economical as claimed, fidgety ride quality, artificial driving experience.
