Stilo might mean 'style' in Italian, but unlike the rest of Italy's fashionable products Fiat's family hatchback has failed to excite buyers. Certainly it's a good looker, particularly in three-door form, but older European rivals bettered it at launch and with many of them all-new or being replaced things really don't look very good for the Stilo. It's a capable enough car, even though it lacks flair in any particular area, putting it at an immediate disadvantage in this hard-fought market.
