The second-generation TT always has struck us as a car in need of more power and performance. And true to its word, Audi granted just that in Detroit this year, wheeling out an S version of its stylish coupe and roadster twins: the 2009 TTS. Powering the TTS is a hotter version of Audi's turbocharged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder direct-injection gasoline engine, this one making 272 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.
