Areas for improvement: Tyres, noisy
Design:Sleek, rough, nice
Engine:220Hp / 204 lb.-ft.
It would be nice to have 300hp and 300 lb.-ft., but I consider that even this figures are OK.
If you are driving fully laden and with 5 passengers, the torgue and power is enough both in city or on HWY.
A little bit noisy outside, but silent inside.
Transmission:6-speed Sportronic automatic transmission.I choose Sportronic, because I was afraid of slow thinking automatic transmission, if I knew how good is this transmission, may I would not buy Sportronic option - the transmission is adaptable is shifts quick and smooth.
AWD system:you can drive it front-drive, automatic AWD (~85% on front and 15% on back) or Lock AWD
I drove it only 1 month in winter, but it was great!
Didn't use LOCK yet, automatic AWD was enough.
Even on wet roads, automatic AWD is very helpful.
What else?
DVD, navigation, sound, leather, sunroof, a lot of airbags, third row of seats. etc
The only minus I see now, it could be a better sound insulation.
Another minus are the tyres: 225/55/18" is not the most widespread size for tires, I found only 2-3.
The running costs for Mitsubishi Outlander 3.0 MIVEC Automatic are normal
