Review Kia Carens 1.6 2000

Key strengths: Automatic gearbox (but engine was a little underpowered under heavy load).
Areas for improvement: Nothing.
I loved my Kia Carens. It was by no means the most glamorous car on the road and the Kia brand hasn't got exactly the greatest social standing, but this car has fulfilled its purpose very well, that is to drive the kids to school every morning and run errands with me. The car was what was affordable to me as a single parent and has proved to be comfortable and economical for my family. The only real negative I have with this car was the engine, which was very underpowered, especially with the automatic gearbox. With a full load and the air con going overtaking is not on and hills are tackled slowly. Other than that I liked the car very much.
After 32,000 miles nothing at all has gone wrong with the car, the interior has started wear a little, but besides regular services the car has been fine.
The running costs for Kia Carens 1.6 are very low
